    Or you just want to know how to output VRay and MRay passes, just have a look in these 3 tutorials:

    This tutorial explains how to take advantage of multipass compositing with 3ds Max VRay and Mental Ray renders, using the 3dsMaxTools gizmo:

    hey Hugo - Awesome work you are putting into this - much apprichiated - do you know if it will be hard to make it work with multipass renders from Maya 2009 / Mental Ray - since Maya now has better option of rendering in multipass.

    Yes, I am already using maya 2009 passes and truing to build one, i will post it free as soon as it is done.

    Way ahead of me on the gizmo - cool as always.

    But no unfortunately I will not be able to attend the TD forum as I am working on my demo reel here at VFS in canada.
    But you can be sure I will be to the next on - but by all mean I would love to hear your feedback from the conference!

    Hi,
    Just dropping by and looking forward to see the multipass gizmo for Maya 2009. Hugo your website got a lot of great stuffs and tutorials. I have been checking periodically. Thank you for sharing all of those.

    hai guys...

    this s the 1st time im askin a doubt in vfx talk. hope u guys will help me.4giv me ...if i am askin a stupid question .
    i am new to nuke . cud u pls tell me how to comp shadow passes in nuke from v ray .

    i mean which one shd i use ! i hav matteshadow,Rawshadow,vray shadow !!!

    i hav a liv action bg and i need the shdw of the 3d obj to fall on the bg.
    i used v ray material wrapper as matte/shadow ( as directed by v ray tutorial in net)
