No news since IBC 08...
i think it is still in development. yes, eyeon told they planned a release 2008, but it hasn't come out yet. i hope they fix a lot of bugs and don't release a version like 5.0

in srigraph 2008 it has been announced , it will available shortly
yeh, but dont forget, they also promised Generation before Fusion 6 and that still hasnt come out yet - so dont hold your breathe for Fusion 6.
But, like you I would love to get my hands on Fusion6, but lets make sure they get it right before delivering - we dont want similar issues to Fusion5. I think Fusion6 is going to rock and really blast the other compositing apps out of the water. I still feel like Fusion is the Lightwave equivalent in 3D apps. Fusion 6 should/will/better change that.

Thanks for the heads up - just ordered my eval copy.
Have you used it yet? You being a veteran to Fusion, I would like to know what you think. I have heard its very buggy. Looking forward to getting my copy though.

I wouldn't say it's buggy. It's a very mature release.
Of course there's always room for more features as with any other software on this planet...;-)
(And beware...those features are coming...fast!...;-))

Gah, now I`m starting to feel hustled. We moved all our licences over to subscription because of an email from Eyeon stating that they would release FU6 SHORTLY. We would save alot of money if we jumped over to subscription NOW. So we did, and we`re tired of waiting...

Who knows, they might get a vaporware award!
