    Hey everybody

I got a question about software installation.

I just wanted to know where i can find my ethernet hostid on my computer under XP pro...thanks for the help.

Another question especially for aruna who's working at Tippett..

I've seen they're hiring at this time and i was wondering what "compositing software that works with floating point color space" means. floating point color ?? what's that ?

Thanks you so much for help

Floating Point Color Space is a compositing software package that can handle images of multipule color resolutions (i.e. 8,16,32 bits per channel) in a single project file. Sometimes they will call it 32 bit float since the maximum (that I am aware of) is 32 bits per channel. Combustion, Shake, Digital Fusion, and FFI all have this. I am sure there might also be other packages out there, but those are the ones that come to my mind.

Your MAC address can be found by typing "winipconfig" into a DOS prompt. This should also display your current IP and other networking info. Helpful if troubleshooting a lan.

    Enjoy,

The result is fine....i'm startin over Shake after some weeks on Combustion thanks to you...

After 2 hours practising Shake, I prefer it than Combustion...

With C, i was stuck in the layer stack, always collapsing create new layer...with Shake apparently, you are obliged to work with the node view which is much easier..in C. i wasn't use to the schematic view but here it's really more simple...

Arvid i think i'll some questions in the future for you about this wonderful software Thanks again
