hi
nice information...
thank you...
geometrical shapes are easy to roto in any application. For organic ones just try freeware claxa from
patchmaker.net. (If you need key mask fluid mask 3 is nice but photoshop quick selection will do).
yeah, thats THE definitive roto post if ever there was one. A perfect balance principles and pragmatism on the subject... I'd love to hear your thoughts on
1: roto'ing for stereo conversion, specifically, roto'ing w/o feathers or motion blur.
and
2: my nemesis, HAIR.

My greetings vtharpe
Being just a hobbyist-more painter than computer artist i'm not ready to deal with stereo conversion.
I think someone should start it with a piece of paper to do the perspective geometry calculations or
else as in many cases will get unnatural results. Also you will need clean plates. Mokey from Imagineer systems does that but i think it's quite expensive. Alternatively shrink the front object on
the background using something like Eyeon's Fusion Grid Warp(stabilize first). I have also the ambition to twist a bit my front objects as if they were seen by my second eye e.g the left one.
Anyway ,i expect to learn something from proffecionals on this site rather than mislead other
amateurs.
