    setting collision tolerance

I set my collision tolerance to 1 to make my object not reactive to particles,
but it`s still interacting with particles.

    what am I missing?
    I`m using RF4.

    Thanks

Collision tolerance only works on objects, I believe I remember reading about a script on the nextlimit site that allowed you to turn them off.

I just learned about the NBinary emitter. Simulate your emitters separately and be sure to cache the bin files at the exact number of frames. Create an NBinary emitter and load both bin sequences for your emitters and it will create a single emitter based on those and the particles will not collide.

Collision tolerance worked on particles in RF3. Did they change it?

opps, thanks alkali, just understood your post.
yes, setting the object's simulation attribute to 'inactive' has the same effect (but i can't animate it...)
