    with A over B thats true. but by the time you need to do one precomp in after effects to get something to work you loose a generation of quality and speed.

    Yes maybe, but there is also precomp in Nuke and as I could see he cashes the files on the harddrive. Takes sometimes ages

    nuke HAS a precomp node but you never NEED it. in ae you HAVE to precomp things out for some effects to work correctly.
