ummm, was this meant to be a part of another discussion? This is a fragment of a thought...do you expect an answer?
oups.. sorry i mean tree...
no its not a part of another discussion.. and yes its a question
I'm not sure how you'd accomplish a shutter effect with a transform node... perhaps you could elaborate?
ok, that doesnt help very much, but lemme try...
the shutter value in the transform node controls the amount of motion blur coming from that transform node. turn up the mblur right above that slider, and your animating translations will all of a sudden have some motion blur which varies by your shutter angle value.
hi Jeremy !
i know essentially how these parameter works. It's just that i dont see any blur gettting out of it.
just want to know where to place my transform node so i can get any blur of it
heres another screen shot of a part of my comp

Silly question man, but I have to ask it since I don't see a animation icon on your transform 2D.
Are you really expecting motion blur from a transform 2D that isn't moving?
just my thought.. is it even animated?![]()
is your motionblur slider set on 1 ?
