Ok now we've found that I think we've lost the "new posts" button. :s

Here's the URL for people who need it:

I am so used to the new posts button that yesterday when I didn't find it, I was completely confused on how to get to the latest threads.
It takes a tremendous amount of effort to make something look effortless.

As I posted in an other thread already, it's not that like they are entirely gone.

You can find the new posts and threads on the main page. It takes time to get used to, but I think the main page covers all the info you need now. So the change is kind of a win and a loss at the same time at the moment.

I also miss the link for new posts in the header at the top. I know it's possible to get there other ways, but having it there was a major convenience. It was the one link I clicked more than any other.

ok so i added a 'latest posts' link to the top of the header next to the control panel link - let me know if this is what you guys were after?

also added the vfxtalk vip icons back in...

    thanks

Awesome. Thats perfect. Also, would it be possible to put back that "five most recent posts" box that would sit between the dialog that states who you are, when you logged in last, etc. and the first forum? I really liked that because it was a quick way to see what had been updated or added at a glance.

ok got the forum stats box back in, please see http://www.vfxtalk.com/forum/ (top of page) though it still needs a bit of tweaking

we also get a few more spam moderating tools that should help us to keep the bots out so we can keep the forums nice and clean...

we also got the vfxtalk vip registration back up, and set up auto upgrades as we had problems before where people would sign up and we had to manually upgrade them to vip status

so if you arent a vip then please support us by signing up... as the professional forums will only be available to VIP's moving ahead - this is to keep them as professional as possible...
