Has anyone come across any updated news about NukeX and it's release date? Everything I find from last year says "later this year", but "later this year" is now officially over.

This year's got quite a lot of "later this year" left!
I believe it's going to be January at some point (hopefully soon)
Thanks Hugh.
I was thinking because all that was written last year, that they were referring to "later this year" last year.
So sometime this month possibly? You wouldn't happe to have a link to some sort of page where they talk about that, would you?
in another thread, someone from the foundry said it would be very early in the new year.
I also heard it was quite buggy though, so they might need some extra time to iron the last things out.
FXPHD will be teaching an intro class in the January term using Nuke 6 so I would assume a release of 6 and X could very well be around the corner.
I would imagine that, even if it was ready at the very end of last year, they wouldn't want to release it just before christmas, as it would be a nightmare to support a new release while everyone is on holiday...
The Nuke 6.0 & NukeX 6.0 release candidates have entered the final stages of testing. We hope to have them in your hands by the end of Jan
this was just twittered by TheFoundryVFX.
really end of JAN huh?- colour me excited then.
Can't wait to get my hands on the 3D tracker (I'm sick of sending to 3D to get it done)
and a roto toolset that doesn't totally suck. (The paint - not the bezier)
I hear they're re-writing the bezier curves set.
Does this mean that the spline warper will be upgraded too?
(I hope so - I'm sick of the non-descrete warping method)
The furnace core toolset is gonna be awesome to finally get my hands on.
Man - I can't wait till the end of Jan... I want it now. haha
It's gonna be interesting to see how different 6.0x is
The Katana stuff looks pretty neat. FXPhd has a Jan 10 course intro that shows a little bit of the relighting and new tracking stuff. Apparently it'll be available for the VPN for that term.
Might sign up just because I want to get my hands dirty with Katana...

katana wont be in there. the foundry said the will show a first technical preview at this year NAB
