Broadcast monitors

Hi all,

here's a question to you: what kind of broadcast monitors (for previewing shots) would you recommend?

I'm in PAL country, but wouldn't it be better to buy a monitor that can display NTSC as well?

What formats are there? How about HD?

What are the prices? I know, there are those nice Sony 16:9 multiformat broadcast monitors, like the BVM-D32E1WE, selling for a mere $56150...well, that's NOT what I'm talking about!

Any tips appreciated!

I use a sony 15 PVM14L2? and 2 sony 9 model ? and 2 jvc 9 pal/ntsc That I use the most, has uderscan 16:9 and all that. But best of all it fits nice on my desk

I use a Sony PVM-8041Q. It is a compact size so it fits on the desk very well and is designed for mobil setups so it has battery slots if you want to take it on the go with a cam. It also has a 16:9 underscan on it. You should be able to get one for under 1k.
