    Hey All,

I've finally got back into the swing of things, and I've got another Fusion tutorial up at http://vfxhaiku.com. In this tutorial, we take a look at how to create realisitc looking camera shake. Rather than using the stock Camera Shake node, we create our own custom shake using a transform and the shake modifier on various properties.

    Hope you enjoy it!

    Thanks!

    Hey Isotropy,

Sorry for the OT but I was checking out your Node Based Compositing for After Effects Users - Part 1
    http://vfxhaiku.com/2009/12/node-bas...effects-users/

I'm not a Mac guy so I was king of shocked to see you running Fusion in OSX under parallels and flipping back and forth to AE. I didn't know you could do that! I always thought that you had to reboot into Windows with bootcamp to use Fusion on a Mac.

Anyway I wanted to ask how well does it perform. Is it slow? Any OpenGL or RAM issues?

To bring this slightly back on topic. I'm not an AE guy either so these tutorials are also useful as After Effects for Fusion Users.

    Thanks

    Thanks guys!

Fundini, yes, I'm using Fusion inside of Parallels. It works ok for small tests, but there are RAM and processor limitations. I'm running on an iMac, which is only a dual core machine, so when i'm in parallels, I can only run with one proc in OSX and one in Windows, so using fusion is a little slow. I also only have 4GB of ram, so that's a little limiting as well.

If I had a more powerful machine, it would run much better. There's been no opengl issues at all that i've noticed.

    TTYL!
