    Dear members,

I checked out a new Andrew Kramer tutorial yesterday called 3d Ledge:
    http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/3d_ledge/

He's using a Script for AE which extracts a single 2d Track to Maya or 3ds Max Cameradata. Quiet useful I think. Is there anything similar for shake?

    Cheers,
    Michael

All he is doing is taking the 2d tracking data and attaching it to the z or x movement of a camera. Pretty simple to do in any compositor.

Yes, but is it also possible to export that movement to maya? He is using a Script for AE which exports a maya ascii file I think. Opening it in Maya gives him a null object and a that tracking data as a camera movement.

I've heard that there was a plugin called PFMatch by Pixelfarm but they discontinued it and it is not available anymore. Not even through the internet.

    Best, Michael

yes there are scripts on creativecrash for exporting/importing trackers/animation to/from shake/maya. Just do a search.

Pfmatch is a full 3d tracker for Shake. Not a fake 2d tracker.

    Hi!

@beaker: I made this thread because I couldn't find anything on creativecrash... If you did, please tell me!

    Thanks!
