Well at least you have replys, most of the question you ask can be answered by yourself,do you have a demo reel?software means nothing, artistic skills its what´s matter.

I agree with DudeFest, look at the requirements.
But it doesn't mean you can't get the job if they ask only for maya.
I'm a max user, but got a VFX TD job in a maya pipeline.
Some companies are ready to teach you an other software.

hI DudeFest sorry for teasing you all the way that i didn`t mean to

and special thanks to DudeFest for such replies and holycause too...for helping me out yeah i`ve researched alot and found that only one company has 3ds max pipeline there ....and i think i have to learn MAYA to get in a proper vfx pipeline so i`ve decided to lrean from fxphd and seneca to get in TORONTO than i`ll apply for 1 yr. work visa after completion of eight months course from SENECA so i`ll be there for 2 yrs then after 1 yr work visa i`ll be applying for whole 3 yrs work visa if i got good job rest is up to God and if any one know`s any good idea than pls tell me..... i`ll give it a try as i already have experience of 3ds max as 3d genralist but sadly TORONTO has not many 3ds max pipelineS and they are not giving workvisa`s on the basis of VFX !
