    I'm in.

Spent the last few days running over some concepts for this and think I have a few good ideas. Will be doing some test shots this week.

Good luck everyone again and looking forward to seeing everyones work.

Put together a quick animatic to start with. Looking at going with a teaser trailer style.

I was sitting around with a friend last night doing a little brain storming and Im looking at second option in filming style. In line with Diary of the Dead documentory style I though together another quick and dirty animatic.

Looking at doing a hand held video of some poor sucker who comes across one of the first zombies.

I was a little concerned about being able to add rain and storm effects to a shot from inside a car so I was playing with a test shot and came up with this little demo.

It still needs lots of work to get it right but I'm feeling that I can put it together.

As I haven't had a chance to do any fx make-up work in some time I thought I'd do some test pieces before I had to sit my actress down in the chair. Over all the colors are a little weird as I had to use my ex-girlfriends makeup she left behind and the blood is a funky shade of purple :?

I'm hoping to raid the halloween stores on monday to see if they are doing any clearance sales so I can score some make up and latex on the cheap.

Finally got to go out and shoot my footage I needed for this project. The shoots came out better then I was hoping as I'm shooting off of a 450d.

I need to do some post work to clean up the footage but that should be very simple for the most part, then its on to adding in some rain and a little lightning and see how this turns out.

Here are a few shots lifted from the raw footage

Thanks LK, I'm trying to pull some inspiration and a little bit of feel from Romero's work. The footage should allow me some room to get the feel I'm looking for.

So here is my shot next to one of Romero's from "Night".

I put together the first edit of my shots. This is all straight out of the camera with some minor fix's to the frame rate. As I said before I am using a canon 450d which wasn't built for video. As such I am only recording at 20fps, which is not good for any fast motion. I'm hoping to play off of the jumpy frame rate and create my look and feel around it.
