Would someone please help me with a simple model?

Hey guys!
I am a Visual Effetcs major and am starting work on my Thesis project. For my idea I need this gun as a 3D model, but I am not a modeler and have attempted but failed so bad at modeling this I know that its a pretty simple model and can be relatively low poly, so if anyone here thinks that they have the time to quickly model this for me I would REALLY appreciate it! This is a sketch of what I want it to look like:

And so in my video, the gyroscope in the center will be constantly rotating. So I don't know how hard it is to rig that to do those rotations but maybe if I have the model ready I can figure out the rigging part. But for now I really need this model! Also the gyroscope in the center will have to be a bit bigger and will not be confined to the virtual gun barrel. It needs to accommodate a cannon ball.

So does anyone think they may be able to help??
Credit will be given in my video if I end up using the model.

I shouldn't be working for free as it cheapens the work 3D modellers do, and I am much too busy to be doing this, but I liked the sketch and wanted to do some speed modelling anyway (turned out to be 45mins as I was chatting ) so here's an obj I modelled in max!

I assume you'll be loading it into maya as this is the maya forum so press 3 to smooth it once you're imported it.

Oh man thanks a TON!!!! Thats perfect!!
I would model it myself but I'm a klutz when it comes to modeling and it would have taken me days to do this and it wouldn't have looked even close to as nice as this lol. So I was really hoping someone would be kind enough to help me out!
And if I do use this is my final project, I will definitely give you all due credit of name and website!
