Well that's like asking which car is better to drive.

We know all of them have been used successfully for DI work.

You haven't said if you're interested in training on any of them, or to use any of them on a project.

The cheapest is Color and DaVinci Resolve software version.

Color seems to be the least intuitive of all the ones you listed.

I don't know what you mean by domestic, I assume consumer.

Color was designed to be used for DI work before Apple bought it. It was cost somewhere between $5k and $25k depending on what version you bought.

Apple bought it and just bundled it with Final Cut Studio.

I know small post houses use Color on a regular basis for DI work on indie films, and Apple always mentions the commercial work being done with it.

I think it's maturity has slowed down since Apple doesn't update it yearly like Lustre.

I think it's professional enough for some jobs, especially those that are using Final Cut Studio.

Sorry wrong word. Do those other systems require hardware stations (and cost a lot more) as well as the software. Sounds like apple is killing it like shake

    Hardware is the key.

Even Color requires a powerful graphics card for GPU acceleration for previewing.

Lustre, Pablo, DaVinci, etc are used a lot for supervised client sessions. That's when you really want a highly responsive dependable system, because you can't have the clients wait too long or have unexpected crashes create delays.

I don't think Apple is killing Color, but has to be developed beyond where it is now.

Apple redesigned DVD Studio Pro dramatically from what it first was. Unfortunately we don't know what the development team is doing, or when it'll be done.

Apple Color is aimed at TV/Video productions.
Since it as been bought by Apple, it hasn't developed very well to my taste.
A lot of missing functionalities and a lot of bugs. Updates and corrective patches are too rare.
Color is still a crude unfinished application and i hope Apple will not apply the same politics they applied to Shake. Yet it's a usable piece of software.
Resolve seems to be better and better. Really more modern than Color, for a reasonable price.
If you plan using a serious application for a low budget, i think it's the "best" available at the moment.
If you plan to use recent proprietary formats, like ARRI products, forget about Color.

Now, these two can't be compared to Lustre or Baselight products. They don't share the same ecosystem.

Again, any question limited to "the best" concept isn't very relevant without a context.
Life is essentially a matter of time
