I think we could add Matte Painting into Special Interest section because as you all know Matte Painting is not really a software centric art. If you go through Photoshop forum its quite obvious that there are MP threads there which doesn't really fall just into Photoshop.

    hi
my opinion is we go for major categories and then subcategories which helps in limiting branching and easy to go in limited sections ie.,
    like
(Basics, Intermediate , and expert) for General categories in Multimedia(not included web technologies as we are at start)

General Techniques(any matter to get general information procedure)
    2D(Photoshop/Pshoppro/painter etc..)
    3D(3dsMax/Maya/Xsi etc..)
    Audio &Video(SounForge/Goldwave/SonicAcid..etc&Premiere/Edius...)
    VFX Compositing(AFx/DF/Nuke/Toxic..etc)
    Others(General Hardware & Software s-- information&suggestions)

    ..

    thank you
(this is my general opinion(I'm not sure how it goes, as people in this site are well determined and experts i believe))

hoping for better result with good color schema and LOGO also for the fresh START...

    thank you..

    sri

I am quite new here, as to VFX. The confusing debate started just as I registrated, and I'm happy it all worked out fine for everybody. Or I really hope it does.

I personal find very welcom here. I don't post very often, because there is so much information already here. On the few posts I reply, I get a very fast and respective responce, there are not many forums like that!

I'll hope to be a member for a longtime, as there is here a lot of knowledge. And to contribute in the future.
