I will be taking a hard look at all these entries. I didn't have much time this month and the WIPs were all so good, I knew I wouldn't have a shot anyway (I am not patient enough to track all these cars for starters)

So best of luck to all of you and my vote will be there shortly

I have now downloaded all contributions and zipped it into a single file. You can download it here:

    http://bos.jaevel.as/vfx.zip

The machine is sitting on a 10Mbit-connection so you shouldn't have any problems downloading them.

I renamed all of them to something like "bos.mov", "salatar.avi" etc for simplicity, I hope you guys don't mind.

    The file's md5sum is f3a984caa8f908307d22f7703e23c611 and it's 135254932 bytes big.

Wow.. I've gotta say, a great turn out.. Loved watching all of them, and especially liked everyone's creative juices show through on this challenge! Three really stood out (to me), and I had a tough time.. Hopefully I'll see how those three fare through the next 11 challenges and if they keep improving their talent. Which three? Ah... You'll just have to keep working to find out!

Thanks Bos, for the quick, huge file. I will try and provide a mirror for the next challenge.

great diversity in the entries, its interesting to see the different approaches, soem going for a purist realism approach while others going for almost abstract ideas. snarkle didnt fail to raise my eybrow again

interestign to see the direction in the next one, given the openness of it

    well done ppl

Now I've voted as well. It was extremely difficult to give the vote, because a lot of them was great. I managed to cut it down to four finalists, DavidW, dtronic, dwvfx and ryant's composites. Been sitting for 15 minutes now and watching these four, but I finally made the decision.

What really surprised me is that dwvfx had zero votes, I really enjoyed the atmosphere in his composition. Those sirens made me put the vote for him. So, dwvfx, now you're having as many votes as me, I hope you won't get any more else I'll be in the last place

To all of you, great work!

    Cheers,
    Rikard
