    Hi there
I'm trying to do a composite shot of a cg car combined with real footage.

I wonder what I should do to make this a successful shot.
I understand that the most important things would be my multi render passes.
But what other stuff should i look into at my location to ensure that I can generate the right reflections and etc
What kind of passes should I generate ? I'm using maya and wonder if anyone have any tips and tricks ? Please advise and break down the instructions if you can. Appreciate it !

    Things to look out for:
    1. HDRI Reflections - you'll want to have some way of getting the state of the lighting when you shoot - whether this is with a few shots with a fish-eye lens, or using a chrome ball - as long as you can generate a 360 degree lighting/reflection sphere
    2. Measurements - Make sure you measure out your location carefully. Make sure you know exact distances - you'll want to create a virtual location to animate the car to
    3. Tracking markers - You will need to track your footage in a package like Boujou - make sure there are enough things around that can act as tracking markers. If there aren't, place your own (which you'll have to clear up later)

I'm sure there's loads more, but I've got work to do... I'm sure others can offer suggestions too...

I've been trying with a few light probe but they havent been working too well for me. How does one generate the reflection passes ? Is HDRI the only answer to that ? It seems to take forever to render on my machine at least.
Oh.. by the way. How would i generate the animate reflection pass if the car is moving in the scene ?

    Thanks for the respond !
