Merging projections

Hi,

I'm currently trying to project two images of one head ontop of geometry by the 3dproject node, but I don't really know how to merge them (did try it with apply material and merge material, but this didn't work out as expected)

Hi,

If it was me I'd probably try simply applying a Roto node after the image coming into the Project3D node and create a soft edge matte to smooth the two images together.

Then just project them both onto the geometry.

If you get stuck I'll send you an example.

mmh I guess I already tried this. Do you mean like that?



this is the geometry with only my projection for the right side (everything looks ok, I think)



this is it for the left side (everything ok as well)


and this is what happens when I merge the materials together and apply them:

aistee, if you want to project 2 different images from 2 different cameras on the same geometry, then i suggest visiting:
