OK, so something I'm noticing is that as more and more people use Vimeo and Youtube as a distribution method (and we highly encourage it...it makes it way easier for users to view them without having to navigate away or download anything) the more I realize that people don't understand how to properly post a video on this forum.

If you want to post a Vimeo video you will use the syntax
    [ VIMEO ]VIMEO VIDEO NUMBER[ /VIMEO ]
with no spaces between the brackets.

The video number will be the last set of numbers in the vimeo URL so you will see
so your video syntax would be:
    [ VIMEO ]2619976[ /VIMEO ]
with no spaces inside the brackets.

As a handy time saver there is a blue V button in the text box you are typing in. Click it and it will fill in the VIMEO part for you...just insert the video number.

    For youtube it is similar.

    [ YOUTUBE ]YOUTUBE VIDEO ID[ /YOUTUBE ]
the youtube video ID will be the alpha numeric ID at the end of the URL like this:

So your syntax here would be:
    [ YOUTUBE ]dQw4w9WgXcQ[ /YOUTUBE ]
    without spaces in the brackets

Again, you can click the red and white youtube button up top to save some time.

I hope this makes sense and is helpful. It will only benefit you, since it will make it more likely that someone will watch your reel if they don't have to click a link.

Please start using these, I am spending a lot of time fixing peoples threads....

Thank you, I was struggling with that. You think there is any way you could setup a dialog like the URL one that would format it automatically, since the share code on youtube is standardized, you should be able to remove the unneeded part. Just a thought.
