Obtaining some material for HDRI capture.

Hey everybody,

Whenever you look at people who use HDRI in their renders, you see them always using a whithe/grey ball on a stick for lightdirection and a huge chrome ball for capturing the enviroment.

Where can you get those things? I don't think you can buy them in a local store, can you? Or is there a sollution where you can make them yourself?

I'd look at craft stores for a styrofoam ball and then shove a stick in it. Arts and craft stores carry it for making flower arrangements I beleive.

The best place (I know about) to get an good and really cheap chrome sphere is in garden shops. They sell alot of different sizes and are calling them "Gazong Globes". I bought an 4" version for just 10 bucks. :-)

cheap christmas tree ornaments work well for that too. and now is the time!!
