    Hello all,
This is my first bigger vfx project. I am making it as my Final Project on my Design faculty.

I would like to hear what you think about it, and what can be done better to give it more realism?

I am still working on Color grading, Motion blur and Sound design so this version is still WIP

    3D Tracking: Boujou
Animation and modeling done in 3DS Max + Rayfire
    Fire and smoke: FumeFX
    Compositing: AfterEffects

    Hey, mane,
great work on explosion stuff, I loved it.

Is everything alright with the plane's scale? I suppose it should be bigger.

    thanks

Thanks Vladimir.. Scale should be ok, plane is more distanced away from camera than white building so it looks smaller.

It seemed to me that the plane is hitting the white building. Maybe it is possible to make the wing trouble a bit earlier or later, because now the timing is perfect and it creates the illusion that the building is hit. Thus the viewer could have some problems with the scale perception.

Again, great particles and fx work )

Plane actually hits it but from backside.. It is a very long building and that can't be seen from the video perspective.

How much bigger you think plane should look larger in %?

I see... Here is what I think:
Look at the tower railing (it is railing if I am correct). Pretend a man standing there and compare it to the plane. Since the tower and the plane are on pretty the same axis you could resize your aircraft properly.

One more thing - add more light from the fire to the plane. There should be not only reflections, but the glowing as well.

    No problem )
And one more - you could probably add some building reflection to the plane since they are very close to each other. It could help the integration to be more seamless. And color correction of course, pay special attention to the smoke and dirt stuff. I think it should be a bit brighter, but just a bit.

Right, I'll try to fake some more light from fire

Use the wings as a collision object for the smoke. It goes through it now.
And the plane should fall down faster.
And when the wings hit something, the plane should have some yaw motion.
    But it looks already nice

Whole plane is already a collision object for fumeFx simulations, smoke on the wing is going under and little over it
I'll try to add some more yaw motion in AfterEffects but that should have been made in 3D animation ..

Thank you for comments ; )
