Long title there.. I'm using Luma Pictures shared gizmo setup where you copy init.py and menu.py to your local folders and they look at a shared folder for automatic gizmo button creation.

Now I'm wanting to do the same but have the ability to import a nuke script template instead of a gizmo. How would you go on about creating such a thing?

I'm hoping there is something similar already created, otherwise I am guessing I'll have to go into Luma's init.py and try to repurpose that code for normal menues as opposed to gizmos... unless one can hack a gizmo into importing a nuke script into the node graph somehow..

    Any help would be great!
    Thanks.

    Hello,

Have you tried to put your script into a script into a file named yourTool.gizmo ?
I have done this to import group instead of gizmo, so it should work for you too

    Hope it will help

I didn't think of that actually, that will do the trick for me indeed. Thanks a bunch!

Still, it would be interesting to hear how one can automatically create menues in the same way as these gizmos get created...
