Setting up HDR for Live Action Interior Scene
    Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of an issue. Till now most of my hdr shots were outside shots. So I took my HDR image in Vray and created a plane where my objects are on. Looks good. But now I have a shot in a covered parking lot. I took my hdr images in there too. How do I setup my scene now? I assume I have to remodel the parking lot (floor, pilars, roof)? What texture do I assign to them? I haven't shot texture material. Do I need to project my footage on the objects? Or can I do it like I do the outside shots with just a plane and no modeling?

Hope you can help me out.

    Thanks,
    Maarten

Ok...I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say, but I'm assuming its something along the lines of putting 3D objects into interior shots? and you want to know the difference between inside and outside shots?
if that's so, the main thing you'll need to worry about is lighting and the color tint that's usually in effect in inside shots.
Usually it's not too hard to match up lighting and CC, but it always depends on the shot.

Do I need to project my footage on the objects?
You could try camera projection(assuming you're using 3ds Max)
If you say "plz" because it's shorter than "please" then I'll say "no" because it's shorter than "yes"

You can use your interior HDR just like you would use your exterior HDR setup, are you experiencing any problems with this method?

Projecting HDR images onto geometry is a great way to go because then your objects get more realistic light from interior scenes. Outside moving 5 meters in any direction usually gets the same kind of light (unless you move under a tree or something). Inside a much smaller movement from where your spherical HDR center can mean very different lighting (near a carpet versus near the white ceiling for example). Modeling your environment and projecting the HDR onto it can help with accurate lighting and reflections.
