    Hello!

I tried to find a thread on virtual studio work (mainly realtime camera track + realtime chroma key + comp)
    but didn't find any.

We are aiming to launch production of a tv series featured with heavy vfx work next autumn, and now looking for the best solution for our needs to get the most out of the up-to-date technology during the shootings.

Mainly I have these needs in mind:
    1) Realtime camera tracking and logging (camera movement as data that could be brought to maya for example)
1b) Would be really nice to get the cam data saved automatically in sync with shot footage (ie. camera data xxx would match redfile xxx per frame)
    2) Realtime rendering of a simple 3d scene through the tracked camera
    3) Realtime keying of the footage from camera (low resolution previz would suffice)
    4) Combining the keyed footage on top of the realtime render
    (5) Installing multimillion equipment fixed in a studio isn't what we are looking for

Has anybody had the same kind of situation and would be willing to share some do-s and don't-s?

Any tips would be really appreciated!

NUKE X is great for the things you listed... not sure what you regard as "real-time" though (is anything truly real-time?)... but it's quite the jack knife of compositing software

Hey Matt, by real-time he means REALTIME. Which Nuke is not! And there are such solutions.
