bin loader: troubles linking to a parent

Hi,
I've encountered serious problems attempting to link a bin/Nbin loader to other objects in the scene, the result is a "random" coordinates assignment.
is it a bug or a scene issue?
if bug, there's a work around or I need a long copy/past of curves from other linked objects?
