Editing

Hey,

It'd be pretty cool if we could include an Editing category, much like the 3D area (or any other really) on the forum, where people could discuss specific software (Final Cut, Avid, Premiere...), ask questions, and post work for criticism.

I haven't found a good Editing forum and I believe VFXtalk would be the not only obvious but best choice to host such an idea.

editing isn't really part of the FX category.

Have you tried The Creative Cow: http://forums.creativecow.net/

There are forums for each major editing application and a general forum called the Art Of The Edit.

Radders, thanks for the reply. I see what you mean by it not being part of VFX, but I still feel it has a place within the community (it's still post production, and could bring in some new users etc.)

I have to agree this VFX talk not post production talk. because if we add editing we must add protools sound, and acid and stuff too.
the idea is not to exclude users but to be a one stop resource for all things graphics related in vfx 2D/3D. Creative Cow has that covered well I think.
