Hi all..
Currently in Pre-Production for my graduation film at film school, working on creating a realistic crowd. They are prisoners in a concentration camp.
I have thought up several different approaches to doing this, we will have around 30 extras on set, my original plan was to move them around and shoot multiple passes and comp them together, however this method would require a locked off camera which would scream 'visual effects shot'..
So I have started testing pottentially shooting plates of the extras against an exterior greenscreen (on location) then tracking them into a crane shot.
If you download the video you will be able to see my plan..
The Mograph Plate is what I ideally want it to look like, then the following section is how I plan to achieve that. However my final comp in this test is not convincing. I was wondering if anyone has any tips and advice based on my previs..

Thanks a lot for your help.. Hope this is in the right section of the forum..
