  1. #1 Is this a good mobo for Autodesk Maya?
    Hi guys

I'm looking to get a Intel Core i7 3820 S 2011, Sandy Bridge-E with the limited budget I have. I have 2 mother boards in mind at the moment ASRock X79 Extreme4 or ASRock X79 Extreme7, which are both similar anyways. The thing is are they good mobos? Are they suitable for 3D work using maya and probably Zbursh? Most importantly will there be any problems Rendering with Mental Ray with these mobos?

If these boards aren't suitable, what do you recommend with a budget of less than £200?

    thanks

I think they're both perfectly fine.

They're just fine for the money and known to be stable. Read some reviews and make your decision.
