  1. #1 script organization for rough comps
    Hey,

So I've been using Nuke to do some precomps of my 3d work. I usually work within a single script file, loading all my shots and assembling passes with merge and grade nodes. When it comes to rendering previews I'm a bit stuck, since each shot is a different length of frames. At the moment I've got a viewer assigned to each shot with a custom frame range.

Does anyone have suggestions for how I can batch render these? and/or if I should be doing this differently, ie, breaking each shot into its own script, etc.

    thanks

It's easiest to have a separate script for each shot. Then you can create a batch file with paths to all the scripts in and render them all in one go on the command line. I think there is a description on how to do that in the manual, although maybe that was Shake, I can't remember.
