    Hi!

I am a regular Fusion User, and I am trying to replicate my setup in NUKE
I have a question about color correction:

In Fusion I can have a Master Gain and I can control also my individual R, G and B gain (that goes for gamma, offset and lift)

In Nuke, if I click on the "4" button to access the individual Gain control (R,G,B,A), modifiy them, then go back to the master Gain,
change that, and then return to the individual Channel, all the data is lost! The values are all the same!

On top of that there aren't any "Lift" controls in the color correct node in NUKE (The Grade Tool has that feature, but it hasn't got tabs for highlights, midtones and shadows...). So at this point I have to use 3 different nodes to do what I'm doing with one single node in Fusion. Am i missing here? Please tell me there's something I have overlooked, becaused I'm getting a little frustrated!

You can click on the colour wheel icon next to the 4 icon. This gives you loads of controls, like HSV/TMI. You can use the V slider to increase/decrease all of the channels together and keep their relationship to each other.

I think the contrast slider will give you something equivalent to lift.

Hi! Thank you for your answers!
About the color wheel: the solution is interesting, but I prefer having a master control independant from the RGB channels... I guess I'll stick 2 nodes one after another!

For the Lift.... Contrast is not equivalent (if you use the slice gizmo, you'll notice it's more like a gamma and gain operation). But i found out what a lift is: by doing a little expression
you can get the result of a lift: move your offset value while gain=1-offset and that does it! I guess I'll build myself a little gizmo to incorporate that!
