rendering not responding

Hi.

after saving the out- creating the saver node.. when i hit start render..there's no response ...

fusion 6
ati radeon 4870
Win XP SP3

do you see the dialog with the rendersettings?

can you execute any other scripts (e.g. save as in the file menu)?

this can be caused by a antivirus/firewall programm which blocks the communication between fusion.exe and eyeonscript.exe.

something else: do you have a programm which will show you the network connections and which network ports are used by the programs? i had once a problem where fusion.exe tried to communicate with my WAN address while eyeonscript.exe was listening to my LAN address. solution here was to reinstall windows, dont know why it was changed or what did that

thnx alot disabling IMON and AMON of NOD32 solved the problem...is there any harm done if disabled..will fusin.exe casue any harm to system ???

The problem now is that, iam able to save the composition but not able to save the output of a file using the saver node, when i click on saver node and try to save, it does not respond,,followed all the instruction in the given link, pls help

dont get exactly what the problem is.

you make a saver and put the correct path and filename in it. right? does it hang here?

then you hit the render button and you see the renderdialog? does it hang here?
