    Hi,

normally i have a live action plate to comp 3d passes into it. So i can use the live action plate as a reference for the 3d stuff and it is easer to match 3d and 2d.

But at the moment i have a complete 3d shot which should look like real.

Can anyone give me some hints or tips what could be helpful to get a real result? Hopefully its not a stupid question, because everyone would like to make 3d real.
But i could imagine that there are a few thing which i should keep in mind.

For some reason i have a huge problem with the colors, they still looking too cg, but i cant say why. at the moment i have an environment scene, its like a huge hole with water and a lot off stones.
Its hard to colorcorrect especially the dark parts.

look for references in the net that matches your shot closely - I'm sure you'll end up finding something useful since stones and water are not so rare
