Hey'all!
Anyone with experience of replacing footage in PFtrack 2011?
I've tracked a timelapse shot on a 5D2. Since I didn't think I'd need the full 21Mpix-frame I downscaled to half before tracking.
Now it turns out we need to reframe some of the shots afterwards, and of course I need to use the full frame again.
According to the pf-manual:
The Replace Footage node can be used to swap the background clip with another. The node has two inputs and one output. The clip from the first input will be replaced with the clip from the second input. The second clip may have a different resolution or number of frames.
Usage:
After connecting a second clip, the trackers and camera provided by the first input will be scaled to fit the new clip length and resolution. A frame offset can be applied to adjust the in/out points of each tracker or camera in cases where frame numbering has changed.
Only problem is it doesn't seem to work, my ground and my test objects aren't positioned correctly, also the frame size is still in sync with the halfres-clip. Has anybody used this? It might be essential where in the node tree to connect the replace-footage node, the manual isn't very specific about this however.
Thankful for any thoughts,
Cheers!
