    Hi,
can anyone exactly describe what is shown in the buffer report window? I mean beyound the obvious memory usage. There are things like percentage numbers or things like "w 200". I cant find any info on it, not in the manuals or forums.

    Thanks

It's context dependent on what nodes you're doing it on - 2D ops give different info to 3D nodes and things like OFX nodes.

If you give an example of what you're seeing I can interpret it for you.

Thanks peter, i will take you up on that
    For example:
    Merge1: 606kB 302x238 rgba 52% w 2147483647

    I would guess:
606kb is the memory used by Merge1
302x238 is the dimension of the bbox
rgba are the channels processed by that node
But what means 52% w 2147483647 in this one?

52% is the ratio of how much memory the Op (Merge) is using vs how much it requested.

w 2147483647 is the weight of how important the memory is as a priority to Nuke's caching system.

You can pretty much ignore both of those, the last one especially as it rarely changes.
