The most noticble issue is the tracking in the New Francisco shot. The street sign and the bridge both slip a bit. The brdige could also do with some more depth cues to set the far end into the city. Look at how there is less contrast and a blue haze in the city buildings. The blacks in the bridge in general are probably a little too dark.

The car shot it pretty good. There is something a bit CG about the car but I can't put my finger on it.

The thing that stands out to me (i see this a lot in student reels) is the reflections of the car.
Try to dial them down a bit, and try to match the cars in the plate a little bit better.

Thanks guys - appreciate the feedback.

I've tweaked the car comp slightly, and will look at the issues with the other one when I can

They definitely both look better. I'd check the black levels in the car comp. If you compare the darkest areas under the wheel arches between your car and the cars in the plate I think your car is a little lifted.
