    Hi all,
In Combustion 3, i was animating a simple paint object frame by frame to hide a logo. As long as i was working in the workspace, everything was fine. (pict 01) When i finished, i opened it in a render queue on an other PC, and 2 of my points seem to be inverted. And this happend to ALL the mask in this composition. If i open it again in Combustion, i have 2 inverted points on my masks (see pict.02). What is going on? I just lost 2 hours of work and can's figure out.

Do you have the latest update installed? The newest should be 3.0.4

I never heard of such a combustion problem and never had one like that.

Do you have your "first" (completly masked, unrendered) workspace?
Did you change from OSX to Windows or from Windows to OSX?

Have you done any OS updates? I know that some updates may affect combustion negatively. This was from Ken LaRue. There should be a spot on discreet's website to see which ones may affect combustion.

That is very possible, because as soon as i was forced by our technical director to turn ON the automatic updates, i just have problems with everything. I will check on the descreet website and let you know. cheers

Not that I could contribute anything productive, but I had the same problem couple of weeks ago using 3.0.4 on win xp 5.1.2600 (sp1). The mask animation was perfectly alright, until I saved and closed the file. After reopening two of the control points where flipped. No paint operator involved though. Reminds me a little of the text operator bug in pre service pack combustion2. manuel

yup, just had a similar problem.. mine was a bit more complex, I was animating a line with 3 points to follow a microphone's cable on the scene. After that I placed a keyframe 100 frames later and added a lot of control points to make the curve more complex. While playing in the workspace it was perfect and combustion did a great job at keeping the extra control points "invisible" until the right time. Hit render and that was the death of the artist The control points went bananas, it was nothing like it should.. After a second try I just quit that and had to come up with something else to meet the deadline..
