  1. #1 Removing a baby's face
    Hi All,

I am currently completing a shot where I need to remove a baby's face as it is picked up out of its crib.

The plate is just basically of the baby being picked up out of the crib, and the final shot needs to be of the baby being picked up and for its face to be just kind of all smooth skin with no facial features.

I have been trying a few different methods in shake and also after effects but nothing is really looking realistic.

    Any thoughts?

Maybe try to matchmove a 3D sphere (as the non feature head) in the right position with a similar skin shader and then composite them together with some feathered rotos. Hard to get it realistic though, and a lot of work. But the technique would work I think.

    Thanks for the advice DavidW

I was playing around with it the other night, and have come up with a similar solution that seems to work!
