Bit stuck in a matchmove
Tracked all usefull features, inputed all data I can get hold of.. Constrain between three points on the greenscreen. The solve goes thru but it's breaks up. Any ideas?.... PFtrack 3, latest build... Untrackble?![]()

I'm not using PFTrack, but is there sufficient trackers on every frame to generate a solution? Also can you try solving without constraining it? You could always align in your native 3d app.
Yea it will probably be a manual solution.... It's a dolly shot so shouln't be too hard..
Will try to do a geometry based track, maybe more luck with that one. Just the greenscreen.
We'll see![]()
Or try and get a partial track, then use that as a base to extrapolate the rest of the shot.
Where did the original footage come from? The screenshots make it look like it's from a DVD or something, and that will give you so much compression, that tracking won't be fun to begin with.
It's just proxy. Original is 16mm 1024x576
Yep LFGabel give it a try![]()
Ah...well 16 mm can really screw with your results as well. A while ago I had to do 20 splitscreens done in 16mm and even though they were locked off the two halves would jitter all the time. You could even see it in a downrezzed version. 16 mm basically sucks for any tracking, so matchmoving will not be that much different I think.
