i think we can stick with the 1 week voting cycle so people get on with the new challenges but i think its best to remove all first post votes to make sure only active users votes count...

I think that making everyone rate each entry out of ten would make the contest far more equal and honest. It would also give a better indication of how others fair your work. I think this would be a fairer way of gauging the results. So that, instead of voting for only one entry, you have to rate each entry on its merits and the winners would be the people with the highest marks, Think "hot or not" style voting. This could potentially be abused, lower marks for the closest competitors etc, so I think the voting has to be closed. The week long voting is adequate to get everyones opinions and to rank the entrants accordingly.

Alternatively I think having to rank a top 5 would be a fairer way of voting.

How about 10 pro people from 10 different big companies vote?

CG you can restrict groups with under say 50 posts from participating in polls.

Restricting voting based on post count seems to be the simplest solution....but 50?!?

    I need to get posting

    Thanks so much.
I use 3.5 at work on a linux box but I haven't had a chance to use smooth cam, multiplane and all those new features.
    Can't wait.
I might do the next challenge if I get the mini/shake before end of July.

    Thanks again,
