    hi all
in afew days later i saw a commertial in my country that on that we see camera rotate around objects like that shot in matrix film camera go around that woman
on air,but in this commertial, there was 4 main elements,3 person and 1room. the camera start rotate from the behind of them and after while 2 persons jump up
and 1 person was in his sit and after day jump on the air they stop like freez frame for 2 person but 1 person that sits told his dialog and done his action
but 2 persons still freez and when camera stop its rotate(now teh camera is in front of them) the 2 persons start they action i mean go out of freez and countinue
their action with 1 person that didnot stop, this is a commertial about a tv that shows football game, and when palayers do a goal, 3 persons jump and make happy stuff
but 2 of them stop on air and 1 not do normal works and camera rotate around them and after stop rotate 2 freez person became normal and had actions with 3 person
like normal scene.i want to know how we can create like this that camera rotate around and we have 1 person normal and 2 normal/stop/normal. the wonderfull is
camera shows their back to front of them while that rotating and with camera rotate we see the room that like a camera rotate in it and show all walls and.... i know in matrix thay had 180 camera rotate of her and shot eachone 1 frame but i dont think so
in my country they done this commertial by many cameras. is here any way to done this except too many cameras?
thank you and good luck(sorry for my bad english, i hope you found my mean...)

Also, it would have probably all been shot in a green/bluescreen studio - the three people would have been shot seperately, so that could keep some freezed while the others continue to move....

And Dreggsy: I'd always thought it was just a typo when people said "timesplice", but it appears some people do call it that....

It's more commonly known as "timeslice", though (as you're taking a slice of time and moving the camera around it....)

splices make me think of film splices.. which would sorta make sense, splicing something in the middle of time.. hmm.. slicing makes a lot more sense

"time splicing" to me means splicing two different times together - a jump-cut, in other words....

We all know what he's talking about, though....

How far around do you want to go?

I'm planning a 170 degree move at the moment, and I'm expecting to be using about 20 cameras for it......

You will definately want more than 3 if you want any kind of decent move at all - I'd say no fewer than 1 camera for every 10 degrees, 15 degrees if you're pushing it....

With 3 cameras your not going to get enough angles to to do this properly,
I just finished a little bit of study on this and each camera that "ruffy" uses
takes up approx 12 inches of space.
I am working on a shot thats a 180 degree rotate and was taken with 12 shots.
Have a look at "Kronos" an opitical flow plugin.

and yes my food is alright.
