Hi all. I just installed the demo version of Nuke and I noticed that Nuke overrides my Wacom tablet settings. It forces all of my tablet devices (mouse and all pens) to operate in the "pen" (mode which maps the position of the curser on screen relative to the position of the pointer device on the tablet; as opposed to "mouse" mode which allows you to pick up and repositon the pointing device on the tablet without changing the curser's onscreen position).

I cannot override this behavior from the Wacom Tablet's properties window (in the Windows control panal) which I should be able to do.

This only happens while in Nuke. If I switch to any other program, the various devices operate in their respective modes ("pen mode" or "mouse mode" depending on how I set them up in the Wacom properties window).

Has anyone else had this "problem"?

Which wacom tablet are you using?

I've experienced similar behavior with Intuos 1 tablet models running on the latest wacom drivers. With older wacom drivers and previous versions of Nuke this wasn't happening with Intuos 1.

If I'm not wrong you can't customize the behavior of the switcher for the pen of on the driver of Graphire models.

    I might be wrong tho.

    Hi all,
I too have experienced the same issues.
I have just bought the Intuos3 A4 and all apps are OK except for Nuke demo.

On all our workstations, Nuke works just fine with Intous 3. But since we're not using the demo, could it be a demo-only issue?

I just downloaded the demo. Nice big work area/layout but the demo feels very limited. My guess would be a demo issue also.

The tablet driver used to work fine up to version 4.3.2 if I remenber correctly. I've spoke with Jason at that time and he said it was a Wacom driver issue.

But in the end the only place you'll miss the custom switcher settings for real is when you're using the 3D module.

    Cheers,
