Here the other day i was about to copy some of my Combustion workspace files from a network drive down to my own PC.
BUT... There were like a million and i didn't have a clue wich of them it was.
So i decided to make a program to view *.CWS file thumbnails.
The program itself is quite simple, you open it, click select a file, and it will automatically show the Thumbnail just like the one shown inside Combustion.
The thumbnails will automatically be saved as a bmp file along with being shown inside the application.
You can download it here;
http://files.filefront.com/CWS_Thumb.../fileinfo.html
The program is written in AutoIT and can be decompiled.
You can also check the sourcecode and process of the development here:
http://www.autoitscript.com/forum/in...howtopic=41847
The program is still a bit slow when rendering the thumb but it'll be fixed soon.
The "Edit Current" is also deactivated for now but will later make it possible to replace the thumbnail from any *.CWS file with a bmp file.
I am also planning on being able to view a intire folder at once enstead of one file at a time, but untill i fix the loop speed problem it will remain at file per file basis.
Overall this is just something you would use once in a million years but i just love to make apps like these.
