Yes the last scene is a just a footage from the spiderman3 trailer on which we added a spidey Logo.
We clearly stated it in our submission and wip so no one misunderstood it.

Thanks for the comments & crits (both are appreciated)

D'Oh! Jah I'm not that shy but my chicks are turning red. I really thank you for that comment. Thanks to rammi too, I hope you'll do the next challenge as a lot of people will, there is everything to see great stuff.

As Djinn said we like comments and crits so I'd like to thank Sissi and Linc who gave us a lot (really!) of critics...

Thx to all voters and all vfxmakers.

A last word: everybody got his own taste but I cant understand DGZ still got no vote, he has the most efficient metal shader of us all ang a good overall submission. But I'm sur one of the moderators will balance that at the end! Its long until the 15 march!!!

PJ: Hey thanks mate Its a shame though that i didnt have time to render out a high resolution clip with the shader.

Its a little bit sad that i havent go a single vote yet. But its doesnt matter really now when you gave me such good critic
    Cheers!!

heh - maybe because he had too many files to choose from and a bunch of test files as well - the submission thread is for the final entry only! we got rid of the test files so now its just his final entry.

nice entry 2 btw good luck!!!

0 votes. That's quite a disappointment.. I knew I won't make it to the top this time after seeing Pj's and Plankton's great works but still I thought my work will get a little more attention than 0. It's been fun working on it and overall I'm happy with the result, spiderman is my favorite superhero, but getting to this result doesn't get me really motivated to participate next time..

I wouldn't worry so much about it Dreamie... I think your entry was very nice but i also thought another entry was better so i voted for that... I dont think that you should give it up because you didn't get voted on this one...

    Anyway... Just my opinion...

Yes, and this is caused because you only could vote for one entry, I mean, you can not tell which one was secound and third best, and so on, maybe everyone who voted for the winner had for exampel Dreamie as secound choice...
Just keep it up and it will pay.

You guys are right and yes if we could vote for 3 it'd keep the voting scales balanced in a better way..

I have a nice idea for 307 but it requires a lot of work. I'll see if I can pull it through this month..

I voted for Djiinn because it was the one that actually felt like it was part of a film (as in if you saw that up on the big screen it couldve passed)

however it lost it near the end when the "Spiderman 3" title comes, loses the theatrical feeling...and the red of the suit at the beginning might be a bit too bright and smooth

should've just made the title show up the same way as the other credits
also shouldve made the title show up instead of the shot of the eye, the music at that point fits it perfectly

p.s. wouldve voted for plankton but it wasnt really dark enough the mood
