VFX 307 - Shrimpy

Hey,
This is my first attempt at a challenge, we'll see how it goes...
I'll be using fusion and Maya particles for my attempt (I don't have access to fluids), I'm going to have to keep it uncreative and simple, probably constructing things that would be in my heaven out particle clouds. I've attached an early test that I did to test the overall feel and how my Maya particle clouds are coming along (still a ways to go),

Your idea is as nice as simple, you should add some more... things huh? Why not nude women everywhere? thats an idea.. Your overall color corrector is a good idea, but i would not add a second sun, you know, essentialy when the first is already visible. the lens flare is too strong too, but eh, its your first test! The VFX307 cloud at the beginning is a really good idea I think.

Keep going on, it will be a rude challenge! (but with a lot of fun of course)

yeah the second sun is iffy...
I added it trying to achieve an effect something like this reference but I never really got to layering on the effects that heavy. I of course could have just done that in the upper corner where the existing sun is... most of my reluctance is probably because I put time into it, gotta get over that one. I could also just cut it before the real suns appearance becomes obvious, we'll see what I decide when I start layering on effects.
Yeah I definitely need more objects, I want to begin to solidify the cloud effect first. I jumped in before I had any concept, I'm thinking things like a burning school?

i like the coloring ..
