    hi everyone,

    Does any one know how I can import only a section of a sequence as a quicktime file for compositing purposes into After Effects 7? I have already tried marking IN & OUT points around the required clip but it still renders the entire length of the sequence.

    Any help would be really appreciated.

    export as a quicktime refference and check the "use marks" option at the topright of your exportoptionwindow

    Depends what works for you, I export out and in as DV stream.
